Testimonials.  Over the years I’ve had many excellent testimonials from satisfied walkers who have been happy to share their thoughts and kind words once they’ve returned from their holiday.  

I know how important it is to be able to read such testimonials as they then give you the confidence to take that extra step to go ahead and book.  As I am local and know the trails well, this should also give you the added assurance that Norfolk Walking Holidays is the best local walking holiday business to use for any Norfolk walks.

As this is a new website (but not a new business) most of the testimonials that I’ve had are written over on the sister website of Explore Norfolk UK but I’m unable to copy them here (the rules of Google!) so I have added a few here but you can also nip over to the testimonials page on Explore Norfolk UK and read many more reviews.   I’ll be adding more here over the next few years!

The Hunstanton to Cromer leg of the Norfolk Coast Path was a delight to walk.  No two sections of the path are the same --- walk through dunes and nature reserves, along firm flat paths on sea defence walls, through the salt marshes and tidal mudflats, on the beach and on cliffs .

The vast expanses of sandy beaches near Hunstanton, Holkham and Wells were impressive even to Australians . Even the shingle has a certain beauty.  Walking through the marshes and reed beds was a first for us and so different from all the other walking experiences we have had in the UK over the years .

Your choice of accommodation was excellent and certainly met our expectations . We would recommend them all . 

In finishing , Val and I would like to thank you for organising our itinerary . We have no hesitation in recommending Explore Norfolk's portfolio of walks.

I wanted to write and tell you how much I enjoyed my time on the Norfolk Coast Path from Hunstanton to Cromer. The path was wonderful, even better than I had expected, with a new range of walking experiences each day, the distances were just right for me, and the exceptional sunny weather (apart from that hellish 90 minutes of rain at Hunstanton just after my arrival!) was the icing on the cake.

Using your organisation made such a difference. Having such good accommodation all sorted out and being free from carrying anything that I didn’t need during the day made me far more relaxed. I started from Hunstanton feeling that I was going to have a rewarding, relaxing time and that was how things continued. At Cromer I even walked twenty minutes along the path leading further east before I went to the station for my train so that I could say to myself that I had started something that I wanted to finish, the second half of the Coast Path!

The information that you provided was so helpful, as were the excellent guidebook and map book.

Thank you, Suzy, for organising my walking holiday with two friends going from Hunstanton to Cromer in mid-March. It was my first proper visit to Norfolk and I enjoyed the vast beaches, the salt and freshwater marshes and seeing lovely birds - including an avocet.

The accommodation was very good, the bags all delivered from place to place, and all went smoothly!

We chose you because you specialize in the Norfolk area.   We had walked the West Highland Way last year in Scotland and while it was superior in scenery and varied terrain, the Norfolk coast offered more history and a lot flatter terrain.  The bed and breakfast accommodations offered very enjoyable and personal service, and most of them greeted us with coffee/tea and often homemade cake!  We would definitely recommend you.

Having returned home from Norfolk yesterday I just wanted to thank you for your excellent organisation of the walk. Everything was absolutely faultless - the accommodation was very good, the bags were always there when we needed them and everyone was very friendly and helpful. We walked well and ate well!!  Even the weather couldn't be faulted, six days of sun, but with a breeze - the storm on Sunday arrived 20 minutes after we checked into the B & B!!

Thank you once again. We are already planning our next long distance footpath - the company we use have a lot to live up to! I shall certainly recommend you, wholeheartedly, to anyone I know wishing to attempt the walk in future.
